This is a very central hotel for anyone visiting Prague. The Unitas was a convent in the past and so it has a unique interior. The buffet breakfast is excellent. It is in a very quiet street and the staff are very helpful and friendly. An excellent base for anyone on a city break and wants to explore what Prague has to offer
Excellent location and brear service
Location and great hotel, wonderful breakfast
Absolutely stunning hotel - beautiful decor - friendly and very efficient staff - probably the best hotel we have stayed in during our 6 weeks in Europe
Nothing not to like - absolutely fantastic
Great location near attractions and very good breakfast (dining room staff was exceptionally friendly/cordial). Room was very quiet...which we had requested!
Arrived 45 minutes before "official" check-in time, but reception staff wouldn't consider checking us in and letting us in the room a bit early to freshen up after a long drive. The answer was no, without their ever checking with room maintenance staff to see if room was ready...this was "by the book" to a fault, I thought.
It is a great hotel which I will recommend to anyone I know You should maybe consider a porter to assist older guests with their luggage
The experience at Unitas was absolutely fantastic. Buffet breakfast just pantagruelic and high quality. Cleanliness of the room perfect, tv and blu-ray in every room, tea-coffe corner on every floor, staff gentle and careful. The position is the best, next Charles Bridge, in the middle of Stare Mesto. If we get back to Prague, we'd come back here, no doubt.
Room 326. There was a bad smell in the room, even after cleaning. Coming from a day walking around this wonderful city, the room, left closed, presented this bad smell. We had to open all windows to let the smell dissipate. A claimed to the personal of the hotel but the problem persisted. Specially one employee, named Teresa, at th front desk, was very unpolite and showed a very low level of comprehension. Just as an example, after a flight and arriving with two children from the airport, at 12:30, she told that the one of the rooms was not available yet. I agree (I was told before) and ask her when it will be available. She told in a rispid way: at 2 pm! So, we decided to go for lunch and returned at 3 pm but the room was not ready!! I complained and Teresa told that she will give us, as a compensation, an upgrade to the Room 326! I presume that the problem with the bad smell at this room was really a coincidence but her way while talking to me was a real unpleaseant experience. During all our stay every contact with her was unpleasant.
We could not possibly have been more pleased with our accommodations, with the breakfast buffet, with the staff, with the location, it was all just lovely!
Of course, I realize the hotel cannot do anything about the fact that the street location is not very attractive. The police dept. Across the street gives one a sense of security, but looks like it hasn't been touched since the communist days. Once you are in the courtyard of the Unitas however, you forget the dreariness of the street surroundings.
Great location, comfort & breakfast.
Staff were all very nice and tried to be helpful with every question. The breakfast was very well done and delicious. Lots of good options.
Large, comfortable room, good breakfast, helpful staff. Attention to details; airconditioning being turned on during hot days, curtains being closed at dusk, etc before we arrived back after being out for a day. Excellent - can't do any better than this
An excellent all round experiance in peaceful and relaxing surroundings. The hotel is well placed for sight seeing. Would deffinately stay again.
Very unusual building, with a history. The accommodation was very spacious, would definitely book again
Nothing, apart from the rip off taxi drivers from the airport (aaa - you know who you are)
Grleat location in the heart of Prague yet very quiet street. Within walking distance of all major attractions, and close to many bars and restaurants. The staff were very efficient and helpful, always pleasant. Breakfast fabulous, lots of choice and lots of it. Rooms were larger than expected with space to relax, great shower and tea & coffee corner meant drinks available whenever needed.Would recommend to anyone.
